A primary school in Tyseley are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team for a maternity cover position starting in February 2024.
This diverse and successful school are continually working to improve the school for both staff and pupils; ensuring that their curriculum is engaging and inclusive so that all children, no matter their needs and abilities, can succeed. They encourage CPD and are extremely supportive and caring.
The successful candidate will have two main roles. One part of your role will be supporting a year 6 class and the other part of your role will be covering some PPA time across the school. Guidance will be provided but the school would love someone who can bring their own ideas when providing purposeful interventions. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be eager to learn, have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team. You will be committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils and provide exceptional learning and support. Proven experience supporting year 6 is advantageous for this role.
