History Teacher – Solihull Area

Job Description

The school are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their History Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the academic success and personal development of students, starting January 2024, full time – until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons to students of various levels.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Contribute to the development of the History curriculum and educational

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching at secondary level.
  • Passion for fostering a love of history and encouraging students to excel academically.
