Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Stoke-On-Trent

Pay: £105-120 per day

Full Time, Term-Time Only

Zest Education is working with a supportive primary school in Stoke-On-Trent to recruit a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on making a difference in children’s lives and is ready to take on a rewarding role with real impact.

The Role

  • Support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2
  • Deliver lessons in the teacher’s absence, following planned work
  • Provide targeted interventions to raise attainment
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and carers to ensure pupil success

About You

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in a primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Confidence to lead small groups and whole-class sessions
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about education
