ICT Teacher

Zest Education is currently partnering with a highly regarded school in the Telford and Shropshire area to find an exceptional ICT teacher to join their dynamic team. This full-time position will commence September 2024 for one academic term.

We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual who can effectively engage students with different learning needs. A strong command of ICT up to Key Stage 4 is essential, and familiarity with Key Stage 5 content would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
– A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification, resulting in QTS or QTLS accreditation
– A deep passion for Computer Science, coupled with excellent subject knowledge across Key Stages 3 and 4
– A collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-oriented environment
– The ability to plan, assess, and deliver high-quality lessons (planning and assessment duties may vary depending on the length of the placement)
– Strong classroom management skills, ensuring a conducive learning environment
– A positive and innovative teaching approach, motivating students to achieve their full potential

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
