Here at Zest Education, we are working alongside a sought-after primary school in the Hodge Hill area who are recruiting for an intervention teacher to work on a full time basis across KS2 from October 2024 for a minimum of 2 terms.

The two-form entry busy primary school is located in a diverse community where all staff at the school make a positive impact on students’ lives. At the school they aim to provide a secure, happy, and stimulating environment in which children are inspired to become independent long-life learners. All staff at the school are supported through continued professional development to improve their practice so that all children are given the best possible opportunities.

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have a caring and patient nature.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Hold a valid QTS
  • Have a thorough understanding of the curriculum and be able to put this into practice.
  • Be comfortable completing a small amount of planning that is tailored to the needs of the children.

You will be required to work alongside other class teachers and support staff in KS2 to do all planning and marking for the intervention sessions. The intervention sessions will be for pupils in KS2 to help prepare them for their SATs.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
