Zest Education is delighted to be recruiting for a KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school that is committed to supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The school has a strong reputation for providing a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential, making this a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher passionate about SEND support.
Starting in January 2026, this role is offered as a full‑time position, Monday to Friday, on a long‑term contract. You will be working within the KS2 phase, planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and SLD, ensuring they are supported both academically and emotionally.
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment, differentiating lessons to meet individual needs, and leading teaching assistants to provide effective support. You will monitor progress, contribute to EHCP reviews, and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive learning experiences. Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues will be central to your role in supporting holistic development.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
