Zest Education is proud to be offering a full-time Teaching Assistant position at a welcoming Primary school near Yardley to work across their year 1 and 2 classes. The role is due to start in September 2024!

As a Teaching Assistant working across the year 1 and 2 classes, you will play a vital role in supporting the students learning journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the class teachers in preparing materials
  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students who need extra help
  • Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

You will need to be adaptable, patient, and able to work collaboratively with both students and teachers. Strong communication skills and a passion for education are also essential for this role. As you may be required to complete some small group interventions, experience and/or knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum is essential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
