Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Primary School Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive school community in Small Heath.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and support young learners at the beginning of their primary journey.

Job Title: KS1 Primary School Teacher
Location: Small Heath
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full Time, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Qualification Required: QTS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.

  • Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment where all children can thrive.

  • Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.

  • Foster a love of learning, encouraging curiosity and independence.

  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils’ development and well-being.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

  • Experience teaching in KS1 (EYFS experience also welcome).

  • Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching.

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

  • A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
