KS1 Teacher – Erdington, Birmingham | Join Zest Education
Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and well-established primary school located in Erdington, Birmingham. This is a rewarding opportunity for a committed professional to contribute to a positive learning environment and support pupils in their early stages of primary education.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Key Stage 1 pupils.
Assess and monitor student progress in line with national curriculum standards.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil engagement.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leadership.
Maintain clear communication with parents and careers regarding pupil progress.
Contribute to the wider school community and support school initiatives.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching within a Key Stage 1 setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to differentiate teaching approaches to support varied learning needs.
A clear and enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
A professional, reliable, and flexible approach to working in primary education.
