KS1 Teacher

Job Description

Are you passionate about teaching in KS1? Looking for a flexible part time role that allows you to have a better work-life balance?

Zest has the privilege to be working with a busy primary school in Digbeth who are recruiting for a KS1 Teacher work on a part time basis from April 2024. The successful teacher will be required to work 3 days a week of their choice until the end of the school year.

The school is at the heart of the local community and works in close partnership with local schools and organisations to ensure that all pupils receive a rich educational experience. The three-form entry school has a selection of interactive resources that are available for all pupils across the school.

To be appointed for this role you must be a qualified teacher and hold a valid QTS. The successful teacher must also be dedicated and motivated to inspire and support all pupils throughout their education. You must also have strong communication and team work skills to enable you to work efficiently with other members of staffs at the school.

The pay for this role will range from £130 to £212 a day dependent on references and experience. The school are advising both experienced teachers and early career teachers to apply for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
