KS1 Teacher, Walsall.

Zest Education is proud to work with a large primary school in South Walsall. The school require a teacher who can work full time across both Year 1 and Year 2. The position is due to start in September 2022 and would be for the full academic year with a look to make the position permanent if circumstances were fitting.

New financial funding has now been granted and the school can begin to rebuild. An area of the school that has been highlighted that could improve is the addition of a member of staff in KS1. The school require a teacher that can take both year groups to the next stage of their development.

The successful candidate must have in-depth knowledge of the KS1 curriculum as they will be delivering to both Year 1 and Year 2. They must be a confident classroom practitioner who can convey their understanding of the national curriculum to the pupils. Academic abilities at this school can vary so it is important that the candidate must be able to think outside the box when it comes to learning activities and teaching styles.

Newley qualified teachers and experienced teachers will be considered for this role however, teachers with KS1 experience will have an advantageous position. The successful candidate will have support from relevant parties to ensure a smooth transition into the new role.
