📚 The Role

As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will play an active role in pupils’ learning and development every day. You will work closely with class teachers, and together you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons and activities that spark curiosity and enthusiasm.
  • Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, ensuring consistent progress.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.

👩‍🏫 The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who demonstrates enthusiasm, dedication, and a genuine passion for working with children. Ideally, you will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
  • Bring experience working with children, particularly within a primary school setting.
  • Show patience and adaptability while building strong relationships with pupils.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Use initiative and creativity to support learning in dynamic ways.
  • Stay organised and confidently follow direction from teaching staff.
