We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Swadlincote. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the class teacher and supporting students in their early educational journey.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS1 students.
– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
– Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
– Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
– Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
– Support students’ social and emotional development.

Requirements:
– Hold a Level 2 qualification in a relevant field, such as Teaching Assistant or Early Childhood Education.
– Previous experience working with young children is desirable.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
