Are you passionate about working with young children? Would you love to work in a lovely village school? Zest Education is currently seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a school based in Coleshill. This position is available from April 2024 until the end of the academic year. The school may also take on the right candidate permanent in the new academic year.
Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work across Key Stage 1, supporting students in their educational journey and providing children with the necessary additional support. The role is flexible, offering 3 days a week of your choice.
The popular two form entry happy school provide an excellent education to pupils from Reception through to Year 6. The school also has a great selection of facilities and dynamic learning strategies provided by the team of hard working staff. The school are part of successful multi-academy trust who has a strong passion for providing all children with a purposeful, exciting education.
Responsibilities:
– Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
– Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture
– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional support
– Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
Requirements:
– Relevant experience working with young children, within an educational setting
– A genuine passion for education and supporting student development
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Flexibility in adapting to the needs of the school and students
The school are also looking for a dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
The pay for this position will range from £75 to £80 per day, depending on references and experience.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
