Zest Education has partnered with a lovely primary school in the heart of Burton upon Trent that is looking for a dedicated Key Stage 1 cross year teaching assistant. The school is on the lookout for someone to join their team from September 2024 until at least December 2024 on a part-time (0.6) basis, Monday through to Wednesday.

The successful candidate will be required to work across key stage 1, so previous work in this area is strongly recommended. Working with students in a 1:1 context as well as small groups of ages 5- 7 is essential, you will be working both independently and as part of a team with other staff members. A good candidate must be enthusiastic about education, eager to learn, and demonstrate outstanding communication skills with children of all abilities.

Pay will start from £75 however is dependable on experience and qualifications.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
