What You’ll Be Doing

As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher during lessons
  • Help children with reading, phonics, writing, and maths
  • Work with small groups and provide 1:1 support when needed
  • Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement
  • Help create a safe, happy, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support children’s confidence, wellbeing, and development

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children in the UK
  • Previous school or classroom experience preferred
  • A positive and patient attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children in KS1
