We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Yardley, Birmingham. This full-time role starts ASAP and offers an excellent opportunity to support children’s learning and development in a nurturing environment.
Supporting teaching and learning within a KS1 classroom.
Assisting the class teacher with daily lessons and activities.
Working with small groups or individual pupils to provide targeted support.
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Supporting children’s academic progress, confidence, and well-being.
Previous classroom or school-based experience (desirable).
A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
A friendly and collaborative staff team.
