KS1 Teaching assistant, Erdington.

Zest Education is proud to be working with a reputable school in the Erdington area. This school requires a KS1 Teaching assistant to work on a full-time basis from September 2022. The role will last the full academic year and possibly, the candidate will be taken on permanently if the school see fit.

The school in question has a good reputation across the midlands and throughout north Birmingham, they have worked hard to be where they are today and intend on continually improving. To do just that, the school need a Teaching assistant to help throughout KS1 to take them to the next stage of their development. The Teaching assistant will be helping by taking small groups and even working 1:1 with pupils to help them through the curriculum.

The successful candidate must have a hands-on attitude and be passionate about delivering the set work in a way that is understandable to a varying mix of academic abilities. Good communication skills are essential to be successful in this role. The successful candidate must communicate with the teacher to ensure all pupils are on track with the appropriate work.

Both recently qualified Teaching assistants and experienced ones will be considered for this role. Those with experience will be in a more advantageous position. The successful candidate will be given full support in the transition into the new role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
