Looking for an exciting role working across multiple classes?

Zest Education is recruiting for a Classroom Support Assistant to join a primary school in Northfield. This is a full-time maternity cover position, starting in July 2024, this will involve supporting pupils across the key stage 2 classes.
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the learning experience of the children. In the mornings, you will support core curriculum lessons, ensuring that each pupil receives the individual attention they need to thrive academically. Your expertise in these subjects will be invaluable in helping pupils grasp complex concepts and achieve their full potential.
In the afternoons, you will focus on delivering small group interventions, targeting specific areas where students may require additional support. These sessions will be planned for you by the class teachers. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support foundation curriculum lessons, providing a well-rounded educational experience for the children. Your creativity and enthusiasm will inspire young minds as you assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:
– Previous experience working with primary school children that can be referenced
– Strong subject knowledge in core curriculum areas
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education

Pay will start from £75 per day based on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
