Are you a dedicated teaching assistant with a passion for teaching young children and supporting their development? If so, Zest Education have a great opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a KS2 teaching assistant to go into a school in the Walsall area. This role will start as soon as possible and will be on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

This school is dedicated to providing their students with the best education possible so someone creative and willing to adapt to different students needs and requirements is essential.

This school is looking for someone dedicated and passionate about children and their development and who has previous experience working with young children. It is also important that the successful candidate has strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students, colleagues and parents/carers. You will be responsible for tracking children’s development and communicating this when necessary and working 1:1 with students that may need extra support. You will support the teacher in preparing the classroom and delivering a variety of lessons in line with current curriculum.

In order to be successful for this role you will have to hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one, have relevant experience with children in a primary school or a similar setting. You will also have to be passionate about children and their learning.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
