KS2 Teacher

Job Description

A lovely primary school in Burton on Trent are looking for an experienced, motivated and passionate Year 6 Teacher to join their team. This position is full time starting ASAP and will require you to be committed until the end of the academic year, with the potential to extend for the right candidate.

This busy school prides itself on fantastic results year by year and having a fantastic reputation within the community. The school encourages all pupils to embrace new opportunities and strive to be the best possible version of themselves. Due to the growing reputation the school has, teaching has to be of the highest quality and the curriculum is challenging but exciting.

The successful candidate will need to be experienced teaching to KS2 and have a outstanding knowledge of the national curriculum. You will need to demonstrate excellent behaviour and classroom management, and also lead exciting, motivating and inspirational lessons to pupils. The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff is important and you will be required to do this quickly but professionally. QTS in the UK is essential.

Pay is dependant on experience: £100-£192 per day.

Both newly qualified and experienced teachers will be considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
