KS2 Teacher

Job Description

Key Stage 2 – Teacher – Stoke-on-Trent

Zest Education is currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Stoke-on-Trent from September 2025. This is a full-time role set to last for a minimum of one term, with the possibility of continuing for the rest of the academic year.

In this position, you will take full responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class. You’ll be expected to plan and deliver inspiring lessons, support pupil progress through effective assessment, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Strong communication and classroom management skills will be key, along with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.

The school has been graded as ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted and is widely recognised for the supportive environment it offers both staff and pupils. It promotes a creative and engaging curriculum, with frequent opportunities for outdoor learning and enrichment activities. Staff are encouraged to share ideas, work collaboratively, and continuously develop in their roles, making it an excellent place to grow as a teacher.

The school is easily accessible via public transport and also provides staff parking on-site.

If you’re an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher – or a confident and motivated ECT – looking for a new challenge in a forward-thinking school, we would love to hear from you.

If you are interested in this position or want to find out more, email Eve Mason at evem@zesteducation.co.uk or ‘apply for job’ at the top of the page to submit your details.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
