KS2 Teacher, Birmingham.

Zest Education is working closely with a large primary school in the Erdington area that is looking for a full time Year 6 teacher. The position will be full time and will start in September 2022. The roll will be initially for two terms however, the school are looking to employ somebody on a permanent basis if the right candidate is found.

The school is just outside Erdington and caters for a variety of academic abilities. The school focuses on being a safe, enjoyable and creative place for children to go and broaden their minds. One of the main focuses at the school is mental well-being and the school tries extremely hard to ensure that all pupils are having fun while learning. The Headteacher believes in an open and creative learning environment.

Due to the role being in Year 6, the successful candidate must be able to hit the ground running. Year 6 is an especially important year for primary school pupils as this will set them up going into secondary school. It is therefore important that the successful candidate has good in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and feels they can successfully deliver it to the pupils.

Both NQT’s and experienced teachers will be considered for this position. If you have previous Year 6 experience, then this would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be given full support during their job transition.
