Job Description

Zest Education are delighted to be working with a lovely  school just outside of Burton on Trent who are looking for a experienced Year 3 Teacher to join their enthusiastic team. The part-time role is due to start September 2023 for two school terms, with the potential of a permanent contract.

Your role will be to create and maintain a strong and healthy learning environment in which every child will be able to learn and excel all expectations, no matter their starting point. Offering both secure parking facilities and regular public transport routes, the school appeals to both driving and non-driving candidates. Strong communication skills are essential within the role to collaboratively work alongside another year 3 teacher, creating exceptional learning opportunities to all.

The school are looking for someone who is:

  • A highly effective classroom practice that will inspire the year 3 children and ignite within them a passion for learning.
  • Both aspirational and nurturing to ensure every child achieves his/her full potential.
  • Able to provide creative input into our curriculum, demonstrating a deep understanding of how children learn.
  • Able to create an exciting and stimulating learning environment.

Previous experience within a year 3 classroom is desirable however not essential within the role.

ECT’s and teachers with previous experience are highly advised to apply for the role.

Pay is dependent on references and experience with daily rates starting at £130-190.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
