KS2 Teacher, Birmingham.

Zest Education is proud to be working with a two-form entry primary school in the Handsworth area. The school is need of a part-time KS2 Teacher who can commit to 3 days a week. The role is to start in September 2022 and will run for the full academic year.

The school has a good reputation in the local area and is a popular choice for parents in the local area. The school has a moderate number of pupils with EAL and has a great support network for them. The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has shown steady improvements over the last few years due to the stability of the senior leadership and addition of staff that has raised the level of teaching at the school.

The role is 3 days a week and so the successful candidate will need to be dedicated and have good communication skills to make sure they are conveying the same message as the other KS2 teacher. As already mentioned, the school has a number of EAL children and also has varying academic abilities, so it is important for the successful candidate to be confident and able to think outside the box when it comes to planning and delivery of material.

Both newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers will be considered for this role. Those with experience, especially in KS2 will be in an advantageous position. The successful candidate will be given support to make sure they transition into their new role.
