Are you passionate about education and supporting young learners? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join the team at a Primary school based in Burton on Trent.

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of Key Stage 2 students. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a Level 2 qualification in education or a related field. We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and has a genuine passion for working with children. Experience working in a similar role or within a primary school setting would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and engaging activities for KS2 students
– Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional help or guidance
– Help to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
– Support students’ social and emotional development by encouraging positive behavior and building relationships
– Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources

Requirements:
– Level 2 qualification in education or a related field
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
