KS2 Teaching Assistant | September 2026 Start | Full-Time or Part-Time Available | 8:30am–3:30pm

Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a vibrant primary school setting? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and supportive TA to join our committed team from September 2026. Both full-time and part-time roles are available to suit the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the learning and development of children in Key Stage 2 (KS2), supporting pupils aged 7–11 in reaching their full potential in a positive, inclusive classroom environment.


🌟 About the KS2 Teaching Assistant Role

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting class teachers and enhancing pupil learning across the curriculum. You’ll work with individuals, small groups, and sometimes the whole class to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time or Part-time options available


📚 Key Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning in KS2 classrooms
  • Work with pupils to reinforce learning activities and concepts
  • Provide targeted support for children with varying needs, including SEN support where required
  • Assist in preparing classroom resources and learning materials
  • Help maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
  • Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and progress
  • Support teachers with assessment and classroom management

🎓 What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant who is:

  • Passionate about education and supporting children’s learning
  • Experienced in a primary school or KS2 setting (preferred but not essential)
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and proactive in the classroom
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team

Relevant TA qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
