We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team at a 3 form entry primary school based in Camden. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and making a positive impact on children’s learning.
Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Camden
Contract: Ongoing until the end of the academic year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children in group work activities as well as potentially providing 1-1 support when required. Your role will be crucial in helping children develop their academic skills and reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will have:
– Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– A patient and nurturing approach to supporting children’s learning
– The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
