KS2 Teaching Assistants

Job Description

We are currently looking for KS2 teaching assistants to go into schools in Dudley. This will be on a part time basis and will last until the end of the academic year. We work with lots of local schools in this area so this will be the perfect opportunity for you if you are looking for a school that suits you best. It is also perfect if you are wanting a better work/life balance as we will work around you and your needs.

As a KS2 teacher you will be required to:

  • Work alongside the class teacher in delivering lessons in line with the current curriculum,
  • Implement high behavioural and classroom standards,
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment to promote and encourage the student’s development,
  • Support students that may need any extra support and cater to what their needs may be,
  • Communicate any progress made with other members of staff and parents/careers.

As a successful candidate you will be required to have:

  • An enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be willing to get one,
  • Relevant experience in a primary school setting or similar,
  • A genuine passion for helping children and promoting their development,
  • An understanding of the current curriculum
  • Strong communication skills.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
