We are seeking a committed and compassionate Learning Mentor to support pupils’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement with learning. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives.
Provide targeted pastoral support to pupils who may be experiencing emotional, behavioural, or social difficulties
Work one-to-one and in small groups to improve confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
Support pupils’ engagement with learning and help remove barriers to achievement
Liaise closely with teachers, SEN staff, and senior leaders to support individual pupil plans
Monitor and record pupil progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records
Support positive behaviour strategies and help pupils develop self-regulation skills
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and act as a consistent, supportive adult
Communicate effectively with parents and carers when appropriate
Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times
