We’re seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work in a welcoming SEND school environment. This is a flexible, term-time position ideal for anyone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).


🔍 About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in helping pupils with additional needs reach their full potential. You’ll provide classroom support to teachers and offer one-to-one or small-group assistance to students with a range of learning and behavioural needs.

Duties include:

  • Supporting students with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and PMLD

  • Assisting the teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviour

  • Providing emotional and practical support throughout the school day

  • Helping with personal care where required (training provided)


💡 About You

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working with children or young people in schools, care, or youth settings

  • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
