Primary (Part‑Time) Stechford, Birmingham | 8:30am–3:30pm | ASAP Start | Mainstream Primary School

A warm, community‑focused primary school in Stechford is looking for a motivated and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team on a part‑time basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning, confidence, and well‑being in a nurturing mainstream environment.

🌟 About the Role

This part‑time LSA position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the classroom while working closely with teachers and pupils. You’ll play a key role in helping children engage with learning, develop essential skills, and feel supported throughout the school day.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils individually and in small groups to enhance learning and progress.
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, activities, and classroom organisation.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, inclusion, and active participation.

🎓 What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable (not essential).
  • A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to working with young learners.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff.
