Zest is working with a lovely primary school in the Saltley area who are looking for a learning support assistant to join their school on a part time basis. The role is to start in September 2024 and will continue on a long term basis for the right candidate.
The school is a happy and successful school who are proud to provide a safe and caring environment which offers, supports, and provides security for children whilst delivering high quality learning opportunities for all. The ‘good’ primary school has a strong reputation in the area with a high-quality SEND provision.
The role will be working in KS1 working with children on a 1-1 basis, in small groups and interventions supporting with the social and emotional needs of the pupils along with supporting them with general class. The role will involve having excellent communicate skills as you will be working alongside members in the pastoral team to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will also be required to work well independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You must also be able to adapt quickly and show strong commitment to meeting the needs of children.
The pay for this role will start from £75 depending on references and experience.
All applicants must be NVQ level 2 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject or have a minimum of 3 months experience within the last 5 years.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
