Zest Education have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to work within a special educational needs school located in Nuneaton.

This full-time role offers an immediate start, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30-15:30.

The school caters to students aged 3-18 with moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism, and other complex needs. The school are committed to creating an outstanding and supportive learning environment that nurtures student success.

As a Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include supporting and enhancing the educational environment for our students. This involves helping them develop their curriculum skills, social skills, and personal growth. You will also play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students, following the school’s guidelines and procedures.

To excel in this role, you should have prior experience working with special educational needs or in a similar support work or care setting. A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for working with children are essential qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate.

Applicants must hold a current and clear DBS check, either on the update service or be willing to undergo a new check. Additionally, you should be able to provide references covering the last 2 years in full.
