Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team at a primary school in Newtown starting in September 2024. As an LSA, you will be an integral part of our already strong team, working on a full-time basis to support the educational development of all our students.
The two form entry school prides itself on maintaining high expectations for all students and aims for all children to develop of a love for learning. The team of staff at the school work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide the best possible education for all.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for working with children, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. The position will require you to work across KS1 where needed, so having a basis understanding of the KS1 curriculum will be beneficial.
Pay for this role will start from £75 a day, dependent on references and experience of the candidate.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
