Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated full-time learning support assistant to support students with additional needs in KS1 at a school located Alum Rock. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school that is committed to improvement and providing exceptional education to its students.

As a full-time teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. Your main responsibilities will include supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, providing one-on-one assistance to students with additional need. To excel in this role, you should have a genuine passion for working with children and a strong desire to help them achieve their full potential. Prior experience or qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) would be advantageous, but not essential, as support will be provided.

Key qualifications and skills for this position include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. You should also be highly organized, able to work effectively as part of a team, and have a positive and nurturing approach to supporting students.

This full-time role will commence in September 2024 on a long term basis.

The pay for this role will start from £80 a day, dependent on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
