Position: Learning Support Assistant
Start date: June 2025
Location: Wednesbury
Zest is proud to be working with a lovely one form entry primary school on the outskirts of Wednesbury who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. The role is on a part time basis and will involve working Monday to Wednesday from 8:30 until 15:30.
The small one form entry school have a team of friendly staff who are always looking for staff to join their team. The school are also committed to delivering inspirational teaching that develops confident learners. The school is part of a successful academy trust who strive to provide all pupils with the best possible education.
The school are looking for someone who is able to support pupils within small and large groups where the support is needed as well as on a 1-1 basis. The role will involve working across and KS1. To be successful in this role you must be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide the very best for the children. Having a patient nature will be require for this role.
Pay will start from £80 depending on references and experience.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
