Zest Education are working with a special educational needs school situated in Tamworth to recruit an enthusiastic, hard-working, and results driven learning support assistant.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a unique and nurturing environment that caters to students aged 12-19.

As a Learning Support Assistant at Zest Education, your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one support to students with various learning difficulties. You will also collaborate with small groups, ensuring that all students receive the necessary assistance across the curriculum. To be successful in this role, it is essential to have prior experience working with individuals with special educational needs, whether it be children or adults.

At this school, they understand that each student learns in their own unique way. Therefore, they value a person-cantered approach that enables success. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be instrumental in implementing positive behaviour management strategies and de-escalating any challenges that may arise. Your calm and adaptable nature will allow you to thrive in this dynamic environment, fostering a safe and encouraging space for our students to learn and grow.

This position is a full-time opportunity starting in April 2024, for the remainder of the academic year.
