Zest Education is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a special educational needs school located in Cannock. We have multiple vacancies available for immediate starts as well as September starts, offering both full-time and part-time positions to suit your availability.

The school caters to children and young people aged 4-18 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviour. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting these individuals in their learning and development. The ideal candidate must have experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), whether in a classroom setting, support work, or care work background.

Joining this friendly and supportive staff team, you will work in a well-resourced school environment surrounded by happy and polite children. We are looking for individuals with a nurturing and caring approach, genuinely passionate about contributing to children’s development.

Key responsibilities include working collaboratively within a team, demonstrating resilience in facing the daily challenges of working with vulnerable children. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
