Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing childcare professional looking for your next role? Zest Education is working closely with a fantastic nursery near Burton-upon-Trent that is looking to recruit a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their warm and supportive team. This role is set to commence in October and run until the end of December, with the opportunity for extension.

🌼 About the Nursery

This beautiful setting, located just outside Burton, offers a home-from-home atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. The nursery has well-resourced indoor and outdoor areas designed to spark curiosity and support development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The team is made up of friendly and experienced professionals who are passionate about providing the best start in life for every child.

👶 The Role

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Be a key member of the team, delivering high-quality care and learning experiences.

  • Plan and lead creative, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.

  • Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • Track and report on children’s progress and development.

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe environment at all times.

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent).

  • Recent experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

  • A warm, caring nature and a real passion for supporting early development.

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding best practice.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
