Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Infants School in Rednal

Zest Education is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a full-time role at a nurturing and community‑focused infants school in Rednal. This is a fantastic long‑term opportunity to make a meaningful difference within the school’s specialised resource base. You will be required to support children with a range of additional needs whilst also supporting the class teacher.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant in the school’s resource base, you will:

  • Support pupils with a variety of additional learning needs, including those requiring targeted interventions.
  • Provide personal care where required, ensuring dignity, comfort and safeguarding at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and external professionals to create a positive, inclusive learning experience.
  • Help maintain an environment grounded in empathy, consistency and the school’s strong values.

Requirements

This role must be appointed to someone who is:

  • Level 3 qualified in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) – essential.
  • Experienced in supporting children with additional or complex needs.
  • Confident, caring and reliable, with a genuine passion for helping young children overcome barriers and succeed.
  • Paediatric First Aid trainedhighly desirable.
  • Able to demonstrate patience, positivity and a nurturing approach aligned with the school’s values of kindness, respect, tolerance and care.
