Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Step into a purposeful role as a dedicated Level 3 teaching assistant supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs in a welcoming Rugby school. From the moment you join, you’ll use your experience and qualification to provide consistent, skilled support that helps pupils feel secure, understood and ready to learn. As a result, you’ll build strong relationships and guide pupils through academic tasks, emotional regulation and daily routines.

Throughout each day, you’ll take an active role in helping pupils stay engaged, confident and focused. In addition, you’ll use tailored strategies that support communication, behaviour and independence. At the same time, you’ll work closely with teachers, the SENCO and wider support staff to ensure pupils receive the right help at the right moment. Furthermore, you’ll adapt quickly as needs change, maintaining structure and calm. Ultimately, your full‑time presence will make a direct and meaningful impact on pupils who rely on consistent, high‑quality support.
