Location: Kings Heath, Birmingham
Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:20am – 3:40pm, Monday to Friday
Duration: September 2026 – July 2027
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (£95 – £105 per day)

Zest Education is currently seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Kings Heath for the full 2026/27 academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference. The successful candidate will be based within the school’s Resource Base, supporting pupils with a range of learning, communication and developmental needs.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant within the Resource Base, you will play a key role in supporting children with a variety of additional needs. Working closely with teachers, SEN professionals and other support staff, you will help pupils access learning, develop confidence and achieve their individual targets.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support
  • Supporting pupils with communication, social and emotional needs
  • Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning activities
  • Encouraging pupil independence and engagement
  • Supporting positive behaviour strategies
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Working closely with teaching staff and parents to support pupil development

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
