Level 3 Teaching assistant

Job Description

Are you a dedicated teaching assistant looking for a new and exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children with special educational needs? Our well-established special educational needs school in Shenstone is currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team starting in December 2024.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting students aged 4-18 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Your main responsibilities will include assisting the teacher in delivering personalized learning experiences, fostering child development, and ensuring the well-being and safety of all students.

Working full-time from Monday to Friday, you will have the opportunity to work closely with small groups and individual students, encouraging inclusion and helping them reach their full potential. Additionally, you will lead classroom activities following lesson plans provided by the teacher, contributing to the overall educational environment that promotes student success.

To be considered for this rewarding role, you must possess a Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification. Previous experience in supporting individuals with special educational needs or in a similar educational setting is advantageous and will greatly benefit the students in our school.
