Zest Education is recruiting a Lunchtime Supervisor to support a warm and friendly primary school in Tamworth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make lunchtime a safe, fun, and positive part of the school day.
Supervise pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall, playground, and indoor play areas
Encourage good manners, positive behaviour, and safe play
Support children while eating and help maintain a calm dining environment
Organise or join in with play activities to promote inclusion and engagement
Manage minor accidents, behaviour issues, and follow safeguarding procedures
Help with setting up and clearing away dining equipment and tables
✅ Experience working with children (school or childcare experience desirable)
✅ Friendly, patient, and confident supervising groups of pupils
✅ Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and routines
✅ Understanding of safeguarding and child wellbeing
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
