Zest Education are working with a secondary school in the Solihull area who are looking to recruit a maths teacher to join their team. This role is full-time maternity cover starting in September 2022 for one academic year.

The mathematics curriculum will encourage students to use critical thinking skills and logical reasoning for future education, training, and employment. Students will be equipped with the skills to make links with the wider curriculum and appreciate the impact and influence that mathematics has on their daily lives.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for the subject of maths and able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS5
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
