An exciting opportunity has arisen within a secondary school that we work closely with in South Birmingham for an enthusiastic and inspirational MFL teacher. The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire students to achieve excellent results.

This is a temporary full-time role starting after Easter until the end of the academic year.

The MFL curriculum aims to enable students to communicate in another language. The department empower students to understand and respond through knowing and doing in French and Spanish with expressing ideas and thoughts relevant to their needs.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for French and/or Spanish and to be able to teach KS3-KS4
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience, ranging from £143-£199 a day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
