Do you have a recent teaching experience with a passion for music? Zest work with schools across North Birmingham with one school in Handsworth currently looking for a full-time music teacher. This role would start immediately and would run until the end of the Summer term with possible extension depending on fit, this would be to teach across KS3- KS5.

The school believes in promoting creative subjects and believe it brings out the best in their pupils. They have excellent music facilities and like them to be used to make the lessons as creative and as fun as they can be. There is also lots of extra-curricular opportunities in this school.

Being enthusiastic, creative, and positive are great attributes to have if wanting to succeed in this role, this will also help the students engage in your lessons.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for the subject of Music and able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS5
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
