Zest Education are looking to recruit a Music teacher for a school located in Walsall. The role is full time and starts after the Easter break and will be for at least the rest of the academic year, with a possible extension if the fit is right.
The school believe in trying to help and support each student into becoming promising young adults. The school is a fast paced secondary looking to improve on results year on year. It is also situated in a popular area, so is easily accessible by private or public transport.
The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm in the role, excellent subject knowledge, and a passion for making a difference. Creative lessons to keep the pupils engaged and learning is key to excelling.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for Music and a substantial knowledge of the subject across KS3 and KS4
- A strong desire to be part of a hardworking music department
- The ability to control the classroom and the behaviour of the students
- A creative mind with the ability to adapt lessons as and when needed to suit the needs of the students.
