Zest Education have been working closely with several secondary schools located in and around Walsall and have had a remarkably high demand for Early Career Teachers (ECT’s). Roles required include day to day cover, short-term or long-term placements to start ASAP in the local area.

We have schools in Walsall, Aldridge, Brownhills, Pelsall, Willenhall and Streetly who work with Zest Education on a regular basis.

General supply Teaching enables applicants to decide which days they would like to work and is extremely flexible around each individuals’ current commitments.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for his/her subjects and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  5. Strong classroom and behaviour management
  6. Good time management and ICT skills

Excellent rates of pay are available starting from £120 per day. Pay to scale is available after a qualifying period of 12 weeks. If you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for your first teaching opportunity, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
